Sources are public information used to power highlights on all Distill profiles. As a user, you can manage sources and make changes if information needs to be added or updated.
- Navigate to the sources tab on the left-hand side of any profile, scroll to the bottom of any profile page, and click Manage Sources.
- You can Add Source and add a link to add to the source list if you want to add additional information to a profile.
- You can also update an existing source by recategorizing it as Relevant or Important to make it prevalent or by marking it Unhelpful or Wrong to remove it from your highlights.
- Some sources may have run an error or need to be categorized. To categorize them correctly, follow the same logic listed above.
- Once updated, you will want to regenerate the profile to see the updated profile with those sources listed and changes. The highlight section will change after regenerating the profile to take into consideration all the sources.
You can also edit highlights to make them more accurate and specific. To learn more, check out our help center article on Editing profiles - Highlights.
