Highlights give you a quick, engaging summary of someone’s professional journey and personal story, without needing to scroll through their full profile. Split into two sections, Professional Highlights and Personal Highlights, this feature helps you understand what someone has accomplished and what makes them unique. Whether you're prepping for a meeting, researching a company, or just getting context, Highlights offer a fast and human way to get up to speed.
How it works
-
Where it appears: At the top of a profile or sidebar summary.
- Each profile can have up to 7 total highlights, split between professional and personal highlights.
-
Professional Highlights are designed to showcase a person's most impactful accomplishments in their career. These are typically high-level bullet points that provide a snapshot of someone’s professional journey.
-
Personal Highlights bring personality to a profile by capturing details that don’t typically appear on a resume. They help humanize the person behind the career, creating space for relatability and to help connect.
-
- Each source can have multiple sources (see Sources help article) as references, and can include multiple cited sources that can be reviewed by going to the source directly.

Tip: We recommend referencing the highlight you want to change in your instructions. The more detail, the better!
