Distill helps you understand the full picture of a company by showing you its investors—the people, firms, or other companies that have invested in it. This gives you valuable insight into who’s backing the business, how much has been raised, and the types of investors involved (e.g., individuals, VCs, or corporate investors).
Important: We have an Investments section that is related to investors. Here's the easy way to tell the difference:
- Investors = those who've invested in the company you're viewing.
- Investments = The company's investments, like a VC firm.
Ex. Tennr has received investments from GV and A16z.
How It Works:
-
Find the Company
- Use basic search or Advanced Search to look up the company you're interested in.
-
Go to the Investors Section on a company profile
- you'll only see the investors section if we can confirm they invested in the company.
-
View Key Details
- See the total funding raised
- See the number of investors
-
Explore All Investors
- Click "See all investors" to open the full investors page
- Here, you'll get a detailed list of investors—whether they’re individuals, companies, or VC firms—along with any available context about their involvement
Note:
- We'll also note individual investors in a company as well. They will show up as a Person profile.
